We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we add website analytics in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting platforms, or social media pixels on this website.
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes the IP address and request metadata of every visitor in order to serve pages and protect the site from malicious traffic. This processing occurs regardless of your cookie preferences. For more information, see Cloudflare’s privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
We load typography from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). We do this only after you accept in our cookie banner. If you accept, your browser requests the fonts and Google’s servers receive your IP address and browser information. Google may use this data in accordance with their privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. If you reject, no request is sent to Google and the site renders in your device’s default fonts. Google Fonts does not set cookies in your browser.
Our waitlist form is processed by Formspree. When you submit your email address, Formspree receives and stores it on our behalf. Formspree may set a session cookie to protect form submissions from spam. For more information, see Formspree’s privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
Cookie banner. When you first visit christianunion.co.uk, a banner at the bottom of the page lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies and fonts. Strictly necessary cookies are always active and cannot be switched off. Your choice is saved in local storage so we do not ask again. To change your choice, clear your browser’s site data for christianunion.co.uk and choose again.

We rely on the following bases under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and UK GDPR:
Strictly necessary cookies (Cloudflare): No consent is required. These are essential to deliver the service you have requested and are processed under our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website.
Local storage (cu_consent): No consent is required. This key exists solely to record your accept or reject choice and does not track you.
Google Fonts: Loaded only with your consent, given by accepting in our cookie banner. If you reject, the fonts are not loaded and no data is sent to Google.
Formspree: Processed only when you actively submit the waitlist form. The legal basis is your consent, given by voluntarily submitting your email address.
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal to websites. There is no agreed standard for how websites must respond. We do not use tracking technologies, so this signal has no practical effect on your experience of our site.
We update this policy when we add or remove cookies or when our practices change. The version number and date at the top of this document reflect the most recent revision.
